[intro music] [intertitle: ] >> NATASHA: I don't like the word normal, to be honest with you. Because I don't think anybody is normal. We're all different and we all have our own issues that we have to deal with. So I think people with mental illness are the same as everybody else, we just maybe have some issues that we have to work through in life, like everybody else. [music] [intertitle 2: Natasha and John] I'm a person with mental illness. I live with Schitzophrenia. Right. And... For me, and my everyday life it's just, like my sister said, everybody take medication. Everybody take medication for something or the other. You just take medication for a mental illness. That's all it is. [music] [intertitle 3: mental health in our community] >> JOHN: I think dealing with somebody with mental health should be the same as dealing with someone as recognizing an individual and having a conversation with them. Even if it is about the weather or something they read in the news. I don't think anything should change. >> NATASHA: The thing you have to work on with mental illness is you have to be positive. That's the most important thing. Sometimes it gets hard in life. Sometimes you feel down. You know what I mean? But you work through those things. >> JOHN: Season's greetings at this time of year. And happy new year.
