Cota continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic across the province and within our community. We are adhering to guidelines and best practices from reputable sources including Public Health Ontario, Toronto Public Health, the Government of Canada Public Health Agency and the World Health Organization.
Our efforts remain focused on keeping our staff, clients, and community safe from the spread of COVID-19. With this in mind, we have made the following temporary changes to our operations.
We have been designated as an essential service by the government of Ontario and as such have continued to provide support to our clients and their families throughout the global pandemic. Wherever possible, we are providing client support via phone or virtual technology, however we continue to provide in-person service to our residential programs and individuals in the community with urgent needs.
At this time, all Cota offices and sites are closed to the public.
We recognize the difficulty this disruption to programs and services can cause, but know that this decision takes into consideration the wellbeing and safety of our entire community. Cota will continue to monitor the rapidly changing situation closely and provide updates here on our website about our operations moving forward.
