New Supportive Housing Expansion

In the spring/summer of 2019 Cota received formal approval to expand its supportive housing (SH) capacity, as follows:

(a) New capacity dedicated to people living with mental health and co-occurring justice system involvement. SH units funding: MOHLTC rent supplements Support Service funding: Toronto Central LHIN

  • Up to one hundred (100) of these new units will be implemented through the introduction of a new housing first inter-disciplinary team called Assertive Housing First Team (AHFT).
  • The remaining ten (10) units will be added to our existing North York Mental Health & Justice Supportive Housing program.
