Cota’s Adult Day Service (ADS) provides opportunities for people with acquired brain injuries to engage in meaningful day-time activities, explore their strengths and develop new skills within a supportive group environment. The Adult Day Service is a client-centred program that promotes personal recovery and community inclusion; thus, group members are supported to define their own goals and to help shape group activities to meet those goals.

The program offers a variety of creative group sessions for adults 16-64 years of age living in the City of Toronto. Further, groups rotate every 12-16 weeks and sessions are available Monday to Friday. The program is located at Providence Healthcare in Scarborough.

Centre West Park Health Care Centre’s ABI Adult Day Program (which is operated in partnership with Cota) supports individuals who are at least 18 years old, have moderate to severe acquired brain injury and are living in, or preparing to return to, the community. The program provides social and educational activities, community outings, overnight respite and consultation with a physiatrist; furthermore, Cota contributes case management services to the partnership with West Park Healthcare Centre.
