This morning, the Honourable Christine Elliott, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health announced East Toronto Health Partners (ETHP) as the Toronto East Ontario Health Team, one of the first of 24 teams in the province to implement a new one-team approach to help keep clients, patients and families in our communities healthy and well.

This is an important step on our journey together toward wrapping high-quality, local health and community services around the people of East Toronto and beyond.

We all share in this moment and we want to thank everyone for their time, dedication and contributions to help us achieve this incredible milestone. Click here to read more about our ETHP journey. As many of us continue this work through winter surge initiatives this month and into the new year, our next step for ETHP is a planning session with engaged partners on January 16, 2020 to discuss our progress and how we will continue to work together; next steps for our priority populations, digital health and home care; and how best to design an inclusive strategic planning process to roll-out across East Toronto in partnership with all ETHP partners in Spring 2020.
